For the past few years, Marco and his family have been living in Dubai and have been enjoying the highlife the Emirate state has to offer, especially over the past two years.

Quite often, this is shared on social media, like Instagram, and is an open-profile. Therefore, available for anyone to view. Initially, Marco used his Instagram account, @m.oliva77, to show large market gains via a Binance account. However, there is no indication to suggest these are from his trading account:

Since Marco has a track record of forging documents and contracts from others, we would imagine that these too are snippets of someone else’s account. Referring to himself as ‘Mr Dip’, he would portray himself as a hotshot crypto trader, showing huge increases and offering advice, moreso to feed his own ego than anything else. He would compliment this with images of his jet-set lifestyle and expensive purchases:

One of his recent lavish and expensive purchases was a Lamborghini Urus Special Edition that cost the equivalent of nearly £500,000.00. Guess how he paid for the supercar...? Cryptocurrency! Specifically, USDT. How do we know this? He had the audacity to share this information himself with some of his victims, boasting of his purchase literally days after he was paid several million euros in cryptocurrency. The showroom from where he picked the car up from also confirmed that they accept crypto as a form of payment. Here are some images of the car posted by Marco when first revealed:

Along with wining and dining at the best restaurants Dubai has to offer on a frequent basis, he would often take overseas trips, flying either first-class, or charter a private-jet. Here you can see him board two separate jets last summer, both of which are shared on his instagram thumb-nails:

It would appear there would be no limit to his spending because once he arrived at his destinations, Marco lived nothing short of a lifestyle experienced by the rich and famous. Some of these places would include expensive restaurants in locations such as Monte Carlo and Saint Tropez, with one image boasting the hashtag ‘CRYPTOKING’:

This summer was no different when it comes to expensive holidays. We discovered that not only does Marco charter jets, but even when he’s travelling on water, it is on a chartered yacht. During a trip to Europe in July, 2022, he had hired a yacht to accommodate family and friends at the cost in excess of €30,000. We requested a quote for the same yacht, named ‘Jupju’ and this is the reply we received from the hiring company:

Despite posting glimpses of a day in his life, someone who is a lot more active when it comes to sharing daily activities of the family, and more-so herself, is Marco’s wife, Dasha Lapushka. It is widely thought that much of her lifestyle is funded by Marco, who often showers her with expensive gifts like clothing, jewellery and cars. Marco & Dubai: A Love/Hate Affair

Marco first lived in Dubai around 2016 and then returned in 2020. It offers him and his family the perfect opportunity to live the sort of lifestyle they can enjoy, while showcasing it to all on social media. Not only that, but with Dubai being a crypto-hub and also a breeding ground for white-collar criminals, there is no better place for Marco to set up business. Despite the Gulf State offering him so much, he hasn’t always been a fan of Dubai.

Having gone through some of his history on LinkedIn, he would post some distasteful remarks about Dubai, or those living there:

This would later prove to be rather ironic given his own forging skills when it came to doctoring material. Another couple of interesting comments we stumbled upon were made around 2018 when responding to a video made by an individual regarding real estate in Dubai:

Here he claims that his natives (Italians) are looked down upon and regarded as ‘evil’ and that their ‘ecosystem’ is damaged or is being harmed.

In the same thread, he also makes this outrageous comment:

Marco makes the bold claim that in Dubai, Italians produce the most amount of bounced checks and, as a result, are recognised as fraudsters in the city.

Now we don’t necessarily agree with that comment, but coming from Marco, we find it to be extremely ironic, amusing and somewhat untrue that it makes him ‘sad’ since he himself contributes towards this unwanted ‘statistic’.
