We managed to get hold of some transcripts of various conversations that some of the investors had with Marco either before or after parting with their funds. These were either on whatsapp, skype or email.
Some of these involve the victims requesting funds to be returned, with Marco making excuses to avoid paying out. In other cases, he uses aggressive and threatening behaviour in response to a request. His moral compass comes into question when an investor explains how the funds he invested are for the purpose of helping some misfortunate and ill children. He also makes claims to have ties with Dubai’s royal family. You will see in one statement, he boasts of having access to their database, along with potentially expanding some activities that are banned or considered illegal in the state of Dubai, such as alcohol, gambling & lottery.
